Binge Culture is a contemporary performance company based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, Aotearoa, established in 2008. They experiment with performance and ways to embrace the audience; how to invite them into the present space and unedited moment and make them agents within the experience.
They make performances, not bound by traditional conventions, but rather in any context and using any mediums where we see potential. Binge Culture is a company whose practice has grown into the gaps between artistic forms, creating liveness where once there was empty space. Their work is funny, playful, and completely unexpected.
