MĀ and The Fly Hunnies are bringing the grooves to Whakatū – for those who don’t know: MĀ was living in Whakatū when Breakfast With Hades was conceived and born, so it only feels right to get the band together to share it with the locals!

MIHIHEA
MIHIHEA is a 21 year old Tūhoe singer, songwriter, and dancer based in Tākaka, Golden Bay. She has been performing and recording original music since 2016 – playing at festivals, private parties, and the iconic Roots Bar in Tākaka.
MIHIHEA has a reputation for being a dynamic performer, engaging audiences with her soulful RnB beats and the powerful messages her original songs deliver. Her repertoire of originals and covers consist of a wide range of genres – from hip-hop, blues, jazz and classics – as a demonstration of her diverse abilities.
MIHIHEA started laying down tracks in-studio with Jules Evans, Amy Soulfire and Levity Beets in 2017, before taking time out out to attend the Whitireia Performing Arts school in Wellington, graduating with a Bachelor of Creativity in 2022. She now plans to finalise her recordings whilst continuing to write original songs.
