Festival Whānau of Friends - Tiers

There are three ways to join our Festival Whānau of Friends — as a Kakaruai, Kāhu or Whio supporter.

Each tier offers a different level of support and connection with the Festival, while helping us bring exceptional artists and experiences to Whakatū, keep the Festival accessible, and create memorable moments for our whole community. 

Explore the three tiers below and choose the level of support that feels right for you. Membership can be paid in full or by four instalments.

For people who love the Festival and want to help keep it accessible, creative and part of life in Whakatū. 

Benefits include: 

• Access to a digital preview by the Artistic Director of the Festival programme one week before the programme launch 

• Dedicated supporter e-news and Festival updates 

• Recognition by name on the Festival website, if you choose 

• An invitation to a private post-Festival supporter debrief 

• The option to invest in one lump sum annually or spread your membership payment across four months 

For supporters who want to make a signficant contribution to the Festival’s future. 

Benefits include: 

• Access to a digital preview by the Artistic Director one week before the programme launch 

• Two-day priority booking period before tickets go on sale to the public 

• Two complimentary Festival tickets, subject to availability 

• Dedicated supporter e-news and Festival updates 

• Recognition by name on the Festival website, if you choose 

• An invitation for two to the Festival Launch  

• An invitation to an artist talk or meet-and-greet, where available 

• An invitation to an exclusive member reception, rehearsal, or behind-the-scenes experience 

• An invitation to a private post-Festival supporter debrief 

• The option to invest in one lump sum annually or spread your membership payment across four months 

For major supporters who want to play a more active role in helping the Festival flourish. 

Benefits include: 

• Access to a digital preview by the Artistic Director preview one week before the programme launch 

• Two-day priority booking period before public ticket sales 

• Reserved seating for your chosen show, subject to availability and booking deadlines 

• Six complimentary Festival tickets, subject to availability 

• Dedicated supporter e-news and Festival updates 

• Recognition by name on the Festival website, if you choose 

• An invitation for two to the Festival Launch Night
