Book Launch: The Secrets of Maiden’s Cove
We are delighted to partner with Moa Press and Whakatū-based author Erin Palmisano to celebrate the launch of her second novel, The Secrets of Maiden’s Cove, on Tuesday 25 February from 5-7pm at The Boathouse. Erin’s first novel, The Secrets of the Little Greek Taverna has been described as the “most delicious of novels” and her 2024 Nelson Arts Festival event, a long lunch Pukapuka Talk at the Boat Shed, was a sell-out success.

Erin Palmisano is a dual NZ and US citizen. She grew up reading books and has always wanted to write stories. She started writing while she was travelling the world, and her passions have merged in these novels, where food, wine, and travel come together with a hint of magic. Erin and her chef partner live in Whakatū Nelson, where they own and operate three restaurants.
