TALANOA FOR YOUNG ARTISTS

Artist John Vea has generously offered to spend some time with our young emerging creatives around Nelson Tasman, as part of his exhibition Seasonal Agreement at Refinery ArtSpace.

The ‘Talanoa for Artists’ – A roundtable with John Vea’ session will be a very relaxed and open kōrero for participants.  We will get to hear about John’s journey as an artist and his creative practise, and we will also be shaping the session around the participants as they tell us what they want to explore in their time with him.

As both a visionary artist and an educator, we know that John’s relaxed, open style and his vision will have a lasting impact on our young makers.
