A clown dressed as Napoleon lands on the moon. Bubbles go everywhere. Intergalactic sounds emanate from a spaceman. What on earth is happening on this moon? These new dads have made a show that their kids would like. Bring yours, especially if they’re 7 and under!
New dads Barnie Duncan (Constantinople, Calypso Nights, Little Shop of Horrors) and Alistair Deverick (Carnivorous Plant Society, Lawrence Arabia, Boycrush) have joined forces to make a show that is pure joy – for the whole family but especially, they had their own kids and their kid’s pals in mind when creating Moon. Because everyone should enjoy comedy. And live music. And the moon, obviously.
Bring the kids and enjoy a morning of the most fun space travel you could imagine – absolutely no problem here, Houston.
Together with Trygve Wakenshaw, Barnie won this year’s Fred Award for Best Show at the NZ International Comedy Festival.
Moon was developed with the support of the New Zealand Comedy Trust.
